Unit Description
Dasibi 1003-AH S# 5866 ozone detector. Unit powers up fine and reads ppm. When powered up, it goes through the self test, turn to zero, indicator goes to 00.000, and then starts readings when turned to operate, pump set to 1 and runs fine, the UV detector lamp is on, observed through observation hole on side. Approved by EPA methods certification for ozone from 0.5 to 1.0 ppm, with a small pump supplying inside air it started at 00.0016 in 10 minutes, after an hour it read 00.020-21. Checked the local NC Divison of Air Quality web site for today's readings across town and found:
Ozone (8 Hr Avg) 0.022 PPM normal 10:00 AM - 5:59 PM, so it is reading is almost PERFECT!!
No calibration or other testing was done.
